I'm not Stan but I can answer this: Scotty doesn't like people leaving to either start or go to 'rival' forums. She banned Stan, Luc, Sheila and a couple of others when they started IAWP. Not sure who told me but I was invited here at that point as I was very friendly with Luc and Stan at the time (I'd like to think I still am). I even met Stan in person when I went to Paris two years ago!! It was awesome.
Some people say Scotty is on a power trip. I don't believe that at all. She really won me when she kept PP going and didn't take anything out on anyone - when her own husband was dying. She has her faults - one is that she is not a fan of natural remedies. In fact, I saw a double standard in her a while back. She talks a lot about the lies and deceit of Big Pharma and has mentioned the corruption of the scientific process - yet doesn't like anything 'alternative' or 'pseudo-scientific'. It doesn't really make sense. I put it down to the fact she is a nurse and works with western medicine all the time. The other thing is that while her son and late husband were both on a/ds (Ryan took Paxil and her husband was on Effexor) - and she has seen how they were affected - she has never, to my knowledge, taken one herself.
