In the largest health care fraud settlement in U.S. history, GlaxoSmithKline plead guilty and paid $3 billion to resolve fraud allegations and failure to report safety data. In addition, GSK plead guilty for having promoted its antidepressants Paxil and Wellbutrin for unapproved uses. http://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/2012/July/12-civ-842.html
As much as I'd like to nominate Pfizer, looks like GSK is the winner and all time fraud champ.
Note to doctors: that's 3 BILLION for fraud and that's only the tip of the iceberg where they were caught. These fraudsters are the people you side with when you take their word for the effects of their drugs, and throw a blanket of denial on the horrendous withdrawal effects of Paxil--a drug made by the proven liars: GlaxoSmithKline. When you docs got in bed with these guys, it's hard to dig your way out of that hole, isn't it?
