    “The able doctor first attends to sleep and diet before resorting to drugs.”

    "An initiation into shamanic healing means a devaluation of all values, an overturning of the profane world, a peeling away of inveterate handed-down notions of the world, liberation from everything preconceived. For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."

    Santa Teresa de Ávila preguntó una vez a Cristo porqué ponía tantas dificultades en su camino. “No te quejes, así trato a mis amigos”- respondió Jesús. “Ahora comprendo, Señor, por qué tienes tan pocos amigos.”

    Saint Teresa of Avila once asked Jesus why he put so many difficulties in her path. He responded: “Don’t complain. That’s how I treat my friends.” St. Teresa replied: “Now I understand, Lord, why you have so few friends.”

    “All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.”

    But oh, to find the balance!
    I have had no expectations - and of course, if you aim for nothing - that's what you will get!
    Then I have expectations - like going on this trip after staying at same dose for 16-20weeks and anticipating a better time ... and end up with disappointment!
    Where is the balance!

    I saw this outside a building:

    The past is history
    The future is a mystery
    Today is a gift
    That is why it is called "the present"
