    Origami

"In general, these designs begin with a square sheet of paper whose sides may be different colors or prints." Not quite sure if those in the link are from one sheet of paper, but if that's the case, it's amazing.

Very cool. This might be a soothing practice for some people in w/d -- starting a little more simply, of course....

"An initiation into shamanic healing means a devaluation of all values, an overturning of the profane world, a peeling away of inveterate handed-down notions of the world, liberation from everything preconceived. For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."

Yes, that's what I've thought. And starting very slowly, then doing more. It would make those who are already able to do this at least, a feeling of "I've done something", the more so as it's one of those physical things - you can see it. And you can add more.

I used to do this when I was a kid. I can still remember how to make a box but that's it. Used to be able to make some amazing things. Not as good as the squirrel tho.
