    Electric Head Pain

Holy crap is this one scary. I inhaled deeply and triggered electricity like, severe, sharp head pain. Touching or grinding my jaw triggered it as well. I inhaled through my nose again and the head pain got bad again. This was short, like electricity, and lasted on and off for 5 minutes. I actually debated whether or not to go to the ER.....the pain was that bad. It is gone now but I am tired. I hope I didn't rupture anything. Anyone else get these? I know I have sinus issues but never this...

It sounds like a version of the zaps. Very disturbing, but not dangerous at all.

What are you doing to help your sinuses?

NielMed sinus rise. Not helpful at all, but I got breathing strips to hopefully ease congestion. The zaps tend to come and go too, and somehow get worse. It is early on, I guess, hopefully by winter it eases up. I want to enjoy Holiday season.

Feels like zaps. They are sometimes totally spontaneous, sometimes could be triggered by sudden movement, change of body position, etc. A very scary experience, but don't pose any risk. And they get better with time.

You might want to try steaming your sinuses. You boil water, then sit at a table with a towel over your head and the pot. You can add eucalyptus if you like. This has helped my sinuses a lot. I do it twice a day now. Used to do it more than my sinuses were worse.
