GREAT NEWS...last night was the first 8-9 hour straight through sleep I have had since MARCH...aka premed. Very happy camper right now. :) I woke up thinking, "Did I really sleep that long? AND A WHOLE NIGHT THROUGH?" I am very surprised and grateful at the same time.

That's wonderful, hopefully a new beginnig. It's so much easier to cope with all the rest after a good night's sleep.

I hope so too. Recently, I am having uncomfortable pressure in my upper RIGHT chest, right above my breast and more left arm nerve pain. Uggh! It sucks so much. :( Pinching pain in my chest happens too, which scares me. My cat likes to comfort me by laying on me.

Very good sign about your sleep!

Ugh, your therapist is not likely to be able to think flexibly about psych meds if she, herself, is on one. One possibility is seeing if she can grasp that some people are sensitive / allergic / can’t tolerate ADs. That’s not the same thing as getting her to accept w/d, but it’s a crack in the armor if she can grasp that.

I also really admire you for taking what’s good about your therapist even if she has some limitations.
    Meds free since June 2005.

"An initiation into shamanic healing means a devaluation of all values, an overturning of the profane world, a peeling away of inveterate handed-down notions of the world, liberation from everything preconceived. For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."
