    I’m not positive, but I think he’s just holding a scrunched up hat in front of his face to block the sun in his eyes. I know! At first I thought it was some sort of symbolic item!

    Habia oido hablar de una fiesta pagana en Galicia, pero no recordaba donde. Actualmente yo vivo en una provincia limitrofe con Galicia, pero yo vivi allí durante 7 años, conozco bastante bien su cultura, y entiendo el idioma gallego que hablan allí; es un idioma parecido al portugués, y por la misma razón entiendo bastante bien el portugues, aunque no lo hablo.
    Allí hay muchas tradiciones antiguas y misteriosas. ¿Has oido hablar de "la Santa compaña", es una tradición de Galicia, Asturias y León.

    Ah, ¡vivías en Galicia también! Acabo de leer una novela que se lleva a cabo en Santiago de Compostela y tengo tantas ganas de ir. Noté que los nombres de lugares tenían mucho que ver con el Portugués. Aprendí algo del Botafumeiro!

    Nunca había oído de la Santa Compaña! ¡Muy interesante! Tiene algo del mito de Orfeo y del cuento bíblico de Lot – no hay que ver para atras…..
