    Magnifying obsessions

Sheila you mentioned this breifly in a post to me, I have read through the neuro emtions thread and cant see anything on this, can people explain this concept to me a little more? Do you think that my obssession with w/d and not ever recovering is a withdrawal symptom in itself? or just a normal fear?
Put on citalopram July 2009 during a physical illness - didnt need it. 40mg
went down to 20mg July 2010 CT in Jan 2012 - 2.5 years on.
Tried to restart July 2012 due to 1 panic attack (never had one before - start of CT W/D) - adverse reaction

Yeah, I do tend to think your obsession with not ever recovering is an example of a magnetizing obsession, a w/d symptom. It would be natural to have some worry about it, of course. But you seem so *sure* you will not recover, and that doesn't make sense, given where you are in the process, and the general nature of this syndrome.

For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."

Yes, it's WD, Iggy. At some point, it is close to impossible to "talk yourself out of it". But your CNS will be getting to the pre-drug baseline as time passes.
