    Head Pressure or migranes?

In early withdrawal, i used to have this extreme head pressure and funny feelings in my head. It went away and now its back full force. It feels like there is pressure in my head, as if someone is pressing on the top of my head, i feel nauseous, i have sinus and pain in the back of my eyes and temple. It feels like a horrible headache. My eyes are even more blurry. Could this be a migraine? Ive had it for a couple of days now, pain pills only takes it away slightly.

I never had migrains before. I also bumped my head pretty badly two days ago, but i had this before then. Im struggling to differentiate between withdrawal and other illnesses if you know what i mean. Does this get better? I cant tell if im having reactions to anything either...

I dont knw if i had a concussion, coz the symptoms of it is so close to withdrawal... I just wish i wasnt so damn scared anymore. Im fearful 24/7

Has anyone gone for a CT or MRI Brain scan?

Looks like a WD symptom, Needinghelp. I really know how this feels, and how scary the entire experience is, but that's just a way your body is trying to establish homeostasis again. And it will keep doing it. The cyclicality of symptoms is clearly visible - one ailment may temporarily disappear, or get better, then it comes back. Still, the intensity of symptoms will be less and less. Also, all the fears you are experiencing are chemically-induced. It's not real you, it's the drugs.

NH -- Since you had all the symptoms *before* the head bump, they don't seem to have been caused by the head bump. The headache could be sinus, could be migraine, but it most likely due to w/d. I've had a lot of w/d headache. Also, vision changes are very common in w/d, but they will self-correct.

"An initiation into shamanic healing means a devaluation of all values, an overturning of the profane world, a peeling away of inveterate handed-down notions of the world, liberation from everything preconceived. For that reason, shamanism is closely connected with suffering. One must suffer the disintegration of one's own system of thought in order to perceive a new world in the higher space."

Head pressure is unbearable to cope with along with migraines and headaches. I have the lot. I had headaches for 12 years and was told by half a dozen doctors it was not a side affect. When I began tapering, I got the head pressure and migraines, so it is definitely a w/d symptom. However, I was very worried and I had to visit my doctor times and INSIST FIRMLY in the end to have an MRI as I was worried I had something sinister by this time. The specialist I saw told me that headaches are DEFINITELY a side affect! Can you believe it! He found nothing wrong with my brain, but I was relieved to have the scan done and it proved it was w/d related. I would think that if they went away before, they will go away again for you.

Sorry i have got to rant here! this whole w/D thing really sucks!!!!!!!! the symtoms we have and the worry it causes us because no bloody medical people know anything about it! well actually I think many do know but just choose to ignore it .They prescribe these pills and we take them on trust as the doctors are supposed to be helping us and then we find ourselves sick because of the pills we have taken , then the medical proffession just turn their backs!i am so so angry at the whole thing!! and will never trust anyone again!

Vent as much as you need, Squirrel. It's sometimes very needed to alleviate the pent-up frustration a bit. The best we can do under these circumstances is to keep healing and keep spreading the word. Until the Truth gets entirely out.
